Stability Stratification:
The atmosphere is unstable (values of ThetaE decreasing upwards) below 700 hPa on the right side of the cross section, over Spain, which favours convection.
Temperature Advection:
There is typically warm advection in the lower and middle troposphere over the area of Spanish Plume, and cold advection connected to the Cold Front. In this case the warm advection will strenghten with time, as the development is in the early stage.
Divergence:
Ahead of the Cold Front there is convergence in the lower and middle tropopsphere and divergence above, which is needed for convection."
