• 2017-02-16 The regional data used for the newsletters can now be downloaded in the monthly download area. Choose 'regions' in the 'country'-dropbox to access these data. Only those seasons for which newsletters are published are available.
• 2017-02-14 A direct link allows now the access of the download arae from the stations map.
• 2017-02-14 Daily data of maximum temperature, minimum temperature and precipitation of Austrian stations have homogenised some years ago within the project HOMSTART. These data are now available via the HISTALP homepage for easier access and exploration.
• 2017-01-31 Updates for the gridded datasets of solid precipitation in 5min are available.
• 2016-12-09 Updated temperature and precipitation grids on 5min are available now. The solid precipitation will be updated soon.

• 2015-07-03 An updated version for precipitation 5min gridfiles (up to 2010 for precipitation, up to 2008 for solid precipitation) are now available.
• 2015-06-02 The borders of the used climate regions of GAR can by downloaded at 'GAR Regionalisation' as shape file (e.g. used in ArcGIS) and answers of Frequently Asked Questions are now published at 'FAQ'
• 2014-08-16 The summer newsletter 2014 is available in the new design: the anomalies are calculated in concern to the 30-year mean of 1961-1990, the number of stations used are plotted additonally, the text was condensed, definitions of expressions used in the newsletter are included at the end of the newsletter.
• 2014-02-04 A new webdesign was launched. The most important change is the one in the data download area, where the files are now extracted directly, so that all the available data from the database can be downloaded as soon as an update has been made.
• 2013-01-01 A rehomogenisation of the whole database was started. This is necessary due to the data that was included into the database since its start, when the homogenisation was done the last time, as additional chances in the station setup can have occured. It will take some years to finish it for all stations and parameters. Information of the finished parts will be given as soon, as the data is available.
• 2011-08-19 Beside of some minor corrections and updates in the last year(s) nothing happend online... The main reason for this (lack of time not mentioned) was the general structure of the inital set-up. The time is overdue for a complete new basement of this site with the goal of one click updates.
• 2009-09-22 Some minor updates including the long missing 'list of fame' (Acknowledgements) - sorry for the delay
• 2009-07-06 Update of Station-mode dataset, bug-fix: last-line-problem, some stations extended up to 1.Q 2009
