The HISTALP newsletters (in German language only) are published 3 times a year. They contain detailed information about the longterm development of climate in Austria based on yearly, winter and sommer means of HISTALP-Data for the parameters temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration. For these analyses Austria is splitted up into 5 seperated regions: North, Southeast, West, Inner Alpine and High Level. The seperation of the area in the lower level into four regions was done in a similar way to the seperation of the whole GAR into climate regions .
